Forensic Evaluations

Because forensic evaluations are not considered medically necessary, they would rarely, if ever, be covered by your health insurance plan. You should inquire with your lawyer whether the cost of the evaluation is your financial responsibility or whether it is paid by the State. 

Clinical Evaluations

Psychological assessment is highly individualized, and therefore pricing will vary based on your specific needs and concerns. During your initial consultation, we will review all fees and options to best fit your budget. Information regarding your Right to Receive a Good Faith Estimate can be found under the Patient Forms tab. 

Each person is unique, and your assessment will be too. 

Payment Policies

Payment is due at the time services are rendered. Electronic payments are accepted through Square.

Insurance benefits are not accepted as forms of payment, therefore, the cost of the clinical evaluation is your financial responsibility. Payment is due at the time services are rendered.

If your insurer provides financial reimbursement for out-of-network care, we can provide you with billing information to help you submit your claim. You are encouraged to ask your insurer if your plan provides reimbursement, what percentage of reimbursement you could receive, and what information they require from Capitol Area Assessments to process your claim.
